I’m
sure more then a few of you have experienced the heroin of
booze called Jagermeister. Now the originator of the 2 day
hang over has entered the music world with a tour featuring
the alcohol fueled Drowning Pool, Coal Chamber and new comers
Ill Nino and 40 Below Summer.
With
full force, 40 Below Summer hit all
the right grooves proving that they have what it takes in
the world of nu-metal. Roadwarriors Ill Nino brought their
brand of metal to the table with full force. Driving their
South American flavored metal into the sweaty skulls of the
sold out crowds, Ill Nino was a force not to be messed with.
Coal
Chamber was by far the highlight of this tour making me question
why they weren’t the headliner of this package. Dez had the
fans eating out of his hands starting their set with such
classics as "Loco" and "Big Truck". Coal
Chamber treated the crowd to a few new cuts of their new soon
to be released cd "Dark Days" including "Get
out of my row boat" and "Glow". This cd promises
to put them back on the metal map.
Drowning
Pool ended the night with their southern brand of Texas metal
playing all their crowd favorites to no surprise. I have tried
to enjoy these guys but every time I see them I am still clueless
to what the big attraction is. If you are a fan of D. Pool
then you got your moneys worth.
