Music like this would better be suited on Sesame Street then in a stereo of a rock fan, not because of being bad music, but because of its very soft almost pop like sound. Someone like me can only tolerate so much, and when music is soft and has a punk like riff setting, that's where I draw the line.

Like I pointed out earlier, the music isn't terrible at all. Songs are well thought and rhythmic. The guitars are enhanced with drum machines and weird instruments like xylophones. On one song the music is a little too light on its feet, almost Richard Simmons like. The CD redeems itself a little with a good amount of understandable emotion through the lyrics. The acoustic work is also very well done, enhancing every aspect of some songs. Had the CD been mostly acoustic and without all the fake strings/drum machines/xylophones/punk riffs, it could have been much better.

I have never been a big fan of punk guitar riffs. Simplistic power chords that anybody can play doesn't score too highly for originality. Punk fans may enjoy the record up until the pop like elements start showing. It sounds like the band is reaching for the mainstream and punk audience at the same time. Those of you looking for a great rock CD stay far away.

Those looking for some decent punk music, listen to it once and see if you like it. Those of you looking for a Blink 182 type band with a soft side will also like it.
