Eat Me, Drink Me starts off with "If I Was Your Vampire" which is very mellow and drudge like, setting the tone for the rest of the album. Depression and love seems to be the themes to this album as well, but more emphasis on the hurtful/sad side. "Just A Car Crash Away" another mellow song has Manson seeming very depressed. "Heart-Shaped Glasses" is more euro-poppy type music which seemed totally out of place, which Manson is known for, changed the pace of the album for a brief moment. "Are You The Rabbit?" definitely got my attention at first with its older Manson sound, but soon after, lost it.

I'd have to say that is wasn't the greatest Marilyn Manson album. Eat Me, Drink Me doesn't have any hit singles like The Dope Show, The Beautiful People or his covers Personal Jesus and Sweet Dreams. But he does offer an album of mellow songs that most people can relate to that have loved and lost.
